Customizable Workflow
PowerMail can be used to implement a customized messaging workflow within an enterprise. Documents and transactions can be routed to the relevant individuals for processing via emails. Security is taken care off via PGP encryption and digital signatures ensure emails and their attached documents are properly authenticated and authorized.
PowerMail, when deployed with ChannelBiz Ordering, is able to process Special Discount Approvals in a multi-tier sales and distribution organization. Email Reponses such as Approvals and Rejections can be processed and routed to the next relevant party.
Other applications supported include email activation and updates of application specific profiles, such as Administrators, Duty personnel, Approvers, etc.

Automated Data Feeds
In the deployment of an enterprise wide application, there is often a need to synchronize certain data lookups, such as products, prices and customers information so that different applications are referring to the same set of data. Besides using typical data transfer mechanisms within the intranet, (secured) email is often the next best mechanism to disseminate such information to business partners and applications residing in the Extranet. PowerMail is capable of this data exchange and provides a seamless and automated means to feed these data into respective databases easily.

Data Validation and Processing
In a business-to-business transaction, there is often a need to perform quick validation of certain documents before effecting the transactions. PowerMail enables quick validations to be performed to ensure that documents submitted by the partners are successfully accepted when a transaction takes place. Email content can be validated and the results automatically returned to the sender. PowerMail supports the following:

• Syntax checking
• Field length checks
• Common format checks such as dates, currency, country code, etc.
• Detection of native language encodings
• Reformatting of data if required i.e. padding of spaces, delimiters, etc.
• Consolidation and summary reporting

Mail Processing Based on Business Rules
